{Stamps Collection 2013} : National Unity

Hello Everyone,

Yup, it is another collection of Malaysian stamp - National Unity. The stamps were issued on 26th March 2013 with 4 four different 60 sen stamps design. Also I did get the first day cover too for these collection. I feel happy but I'm out of luck because I missed the Exotic Pet issued in 5th February 2013. I didn't get any stamps for the collection. Depressed!

National Unity can be defined as cooperative among all Malaysian regardless of race, ethnicity and religion based on common interest to form a nation that is peaceful, prosperous and harmonious. Sharing the same thoughts and feelings in National Unity which is the basis towards developing a nation.

Since its independence in 1957, Malaysian has grown to become a developed country thanks to the spirit of cooperation and unity amongst all Malaysians. These stamps are to remind the importance of unity not only among individuals but also on a national level.

There are a lot of noble values and practices that contributes to harmony and national unity. These stamps with value of 60 sen a piece compromises of 4 designs highlighting the spirit of community, compassion, cooperative and consideration.

Always giving priority to the elderly and disabled and always be respectful to them
Speaking in a soft polite language
Respect and offer assistance to the elderly and needy.
Be considerate and courteous
